About David Loi

David Loi Studios is a Dallas, TX-based creative consultancy serving corporate and creative agencies worldwide. I specialize in automotive, aviation, and industrial photography — telling the stories at the intersection of human ambition and mechanical power. Driven by a love for the untold stories of the people behind the machine, there's something deeply compelling about the test pilot trusting an aircraft at its limits, or the astronaut pushing the boundaries of human engineering. I've always believed that an incredible machine is merely a reflection of the incredible people who built and operate it, and I'm constantly searching for those quiet moments of grit and ingenuity that tell the world why these machines matter. That spirit — where people, precision, and machines collide under extraordinary pressure — is what drives me and what I bring to every project. I see myself the same way behind the camera — instrument in hand, fully committed, pushing every frame in pursuit of the perfect shot. Every trigger pull is a calculated act of precision, creativity, and trust.

Studio or on location, I work closely alongside your team and talent, directing with intention and collaborating with purpose — bringing high-level concepts to life with a consultative approach that thrives when the stakes are highest and the margin for error is smallest.

When you're ready — I'll help you rebrand, reframe, and rise. Because where passion meets machines, excellence soars.

Outside of photography, I live the life I photograph. When I'm cycling, I find the endurance and rhythmic patience needed for long production days. Racing cars gives me a visceral, high-speed understanding of motion and mechanical precision that I translate directly into my automotive work. Camping resets my creative eye, teaching me to find beauty in minimalist, natural light. Even the simple act of watching airliners at Love Field keeps me grounded in a sense of wonder for scale and engineering.

Otherwise, I'm with my family, enjoying the balance of being a normal person.

I am also proud to be represented by Wonderful Machine.
